Clinical Exercise / S&C

At 18 Physio, we offer tailored 1-1 or 2-1 (for friends or family members who wish to attend together) clinical exercise and strength and conditioning sessions. Our approach is personalised, focusing on your unique needs to help you achieve your goals.

Given our team’s diverse areas of expertise, these sessions can be designed to address a wide range of needs, including but not limited to:

  • Pre/Postnatal: Supporting you through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Including targeted programs for post-delivery recovery and abdominal separation.
  • Pre/Post-Pelvic Surgeries: Specialised programs for those undergoing or recovering from surgeries like radical prostatectomy or prolapse procedures.
  • Pelvic Pain: Tailored strategies and exercise programs to assist with your exercise/return to exercise if you are experiencing pelvic pain.
  • Pre-Pointe Conditioning: Ensuring strength and mobility for safe and effective pointe transition
  • Performance/Dance Strength and Conditioning:  With particular expertise in dance, circus arts, and aerialists to enhance performance.
  • Sports Rehabilitation: Gradual, progressive programs designed to help you safely return to the sports you love after injury.

Pre/Post Natal Exercise

We offer tailored clinical exercise and strength and conditioning programs specifically designed for the pre and post-natal period time. Whether you’re preparing for childbirth or recovering in the postpartum phase, our expert physiotherapists will work with you to create a tailored program that focuses on restoring strength, improving mobility, and supporting your pelvic health.

Our pre/postnatal sessions are designed to:

  • Strengthen and support the pelvic floor and core
  • Address postnatal rehabilitation, including abdominal separation and early postnatal recovery (before the 6 week check)
  • Promote safe and effective exercise during pregnancy and the postpartum period
  • Help you to regain strength for returning to sport, performance, or general fitness

 

With our hands-on approach and deep understanding of the specific demands of the pre/postnatal period, we ensure that you stay strong, healthy, and empowered as you move through this phase of life.

Dance and Performance

At 18 Physio, we understand the unique demands of dance and performance, where strength, flexibility, and injury prevention are crucial. Our clinical exercise and S&C programs are personalised for the individual including dancers, aerialists, circus performers, and other performance artists. We take a holistic approach that not only focuses on enhancing physical performance but also prioritises your pelvic health.
