Jess is an experienced and compassionate physiotherapist with a strong background in both Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Monash University in 2013 and went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne in 2015.
Jess has worked extensively in private practice, with further clinical experience on the maternity ward at Cabrini Hospital, where she provided postpartum care and ran pre- and post-natal exercise classes. Her interest in performance physiotherapy led her to the UK, where she worked as the lead physiotherapist on the touring production of The Wedding Singer, and later provided physiotherapy and injury prevention support for major productions on the West End and at The National Theatre, including Hamilton.
Since returning to Melbourne, Jess founded 18 Physio and continues to work across a variety of roles, including at Cabrini Hospital and the National Institute of Circus Arts. She also lectures in pelvic health at Swinburne and RMIT Universities and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring pelvic floor symptoms in performing artists.
Jess takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to physiotherapy, bringing a unique blend of expertise, empathy, and performance insight to every consultation.
